During his working visit to Paris, Hryhoriy Nemyrya spoke at the annual meeting of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on the competitiveness in the Eurasian region.
“This project is very important to our country as it improves our competitiveness. It enables to implement reforms, to improve Ukraine's private sector operation, to attract direct foreign investments and to reapproach our country to the standards of the OECD,” he stressed.
Hryhoriy Nemyrya urged to deepen cooperation between Ukraine and the OECD, in particular, to intensify the involvement of our country in the work of committees of the organization.
"Ukraine considers the OECD as a source of knowledge and know-how platform for exchanging experiences on economic, social issues and management problems in the modern world," he stressed.
Deputy Secretary-General of the OECD Richard Boucher, who chaired the annual meeting in Paris, expressed his gratitude to Hryhoriy Nemyrya for his constructive role as Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration on supporting of the OECD competitiveness program in Ukraine.
